Field Name Description

Type Allows to define the LDAP server.

Address Indicates the LDAP server address.

Port Indicates the port used to connect to the LDAP server.

User Distinguished Name (DN) of the LDAP server user able to perform the query of all

data related to SCOPIA XT1000 directory. Cannot be changed if pre-defined. Some

standard components of DN are: domain controller (dc), organizational unit (ou),

common name (cn), country (c), state or province (st), locality (l), organization

(o).

Password Enter the password to authenticate with the server.

Base Describes the root of the LDAP tree where the contacts’ records are defined.

Pre-defined value.

Filter Represents the object that must be retrieved to populate the local directory of the

SCOPIA XT1000 with the data stored in the remote server. Records are stored with

the inetOrgPerson structure. Pre-defined value.
